Electro Optic Modulator RF-/HV-Driver and Detectors

QUBIG not only offers light modulators but also provides drivers and accessories of electro optic modulator for high-voltage and high-frequency applications. Our electronics are unique and have advanced features that improve the performance of our free-space light modulators. We develop and produce our electronics in-house to ensure high quality and reliability. Additionally, we offer some flexibility for customization on short notice.

Based on years of experience, it is recommended to offer complete and thoroughly tested electro optic modulator including both light modulators and compatible drivers, rather than individual items. This approach enables a plug-and-play operation and reduces the risk of incompatibility.

QUBIG's RF drivers enhance free-space modulators with digital frequency synthesis precise frequency and phase control. The integrated EOM lock (Q-Lock) automatically tracks resonance frequency up to 20GHz for optimal efficiency. The plug-and-play system only requires input parameters: frequency and modulation depth, thanks to automatic frequency drift compensation (F-Lock).

QDR-series has optional heterodyne frequency mixing circuitry for error-signal generation in laser frequency stabilization techniques. It has digital phase control and interfaces for easy system integration. It can be operated through a user-friendly front panel.

We provide specialized High-Voltage (HV) drivers that complement and enhance the capabilities of all dc-coupled modulators. Our devices are distinguished by their ability to deliver high voltages at high repetition rates while maintaining exceptional precision and stability.

Customers can select from high-voltage, ultra-fast pulse generators with rise and fall times as low as 4ns, based on their specific needs. Our high-voltage linear amplifiers enable the generation of arbitrary waveforms ranging from DC to 100MHz.

We offer a variety of Free-Space Amplified Photodetectors that are sensitive to light within the UV to SWIR wavelength spectrum. These photodetectors come equipped with a built-in low-noise transimpedance amplifier, guaranteeing stable gain for exceptional low signal-to-noise ratios.

Our QDR-ADU free-space modulator driver is compatible with photodetectors and is designed to support all standard laser frequency stabilization methods, including PDH and FM/MT spectroscopy.
